Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying your day. Hoping the groundhog predicted correctly, and Spring is on its way!
Although we are closed for the season, we have been very busy working on projects of various sizes.
In the down season I have been working on getting the website up-to-date, I ask for any of you to send me pictures you have from the Club. I am also looking to find some golf pictures, to frame for the Men’s and Ladies’ locker rooms. If you have any pictures that you do not mind sharing, please pass them along!
I have also created a Facebook Page for those of you who use it. I will be posting events and other such information on the page. It will be a public page, but no posts will be allowed to go through until it is verified through myself. This will give you all another opportunity to keep updated as to what it going on at the Pennhills Club. Please “Like Us” on Facebook!
I hope you have all enjoyed your winter season, but we are all ready for March to arrive!

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
Good Afternoon. I hope you all enjoyed your Holiday Season, I know I did! The winter has finally arrived, although some may wish it would have never shown up!
Now that this season has come to an end, we are working on getting things all shut down for the winter. We have many projects that will be completed over the next few months as well as some larger projects. I will continue to send updates to everyone, as we progress though the winter months.
I would once again like to Thank each and everyone of you for your continued support of The Pennhills Club. We sure had a fantastic season!

I hope you are all enjoying your afternoon. The snow sure looks beautiful on the hillside, looking from inside anyways!
This week begins our Holiday parties, we have over twenty this season. If you have not yet reserved your date, please call Kevin as soon as possible so he is able to fit you in. I have attached a December Calendar so you are able to see when we have large events that close the club.
This Friday, November 30th we will be holding Kids Klub. Make reservations for dinner, and the kids can enjoy themselves in another room. The kids will have games and activities to keep them entertained, they will also receive dinner of their choice! Saturday we will be hosting two small Christmas Parties, they will not interfere with regular dinner service. Saturday, December 8th we have a large event scheduled that will close the clubhouse for regular dinner service, please make dinner plans accordingly. Friday, December 14th we will be once again having our Annual Member Holiday Party at 6:00 pm. Come out and enjoy appetizers and music by the fire, we will have Kids Klub available. Call and make your reservations today, you will not want to miss out on this last fun event of the season! Sunday, December 16th will be Santa’s Brunch from 11:00 until 3:00. Santa and his Mini Horses will be here for the children, as well as fun and games! Sean Murry will be on location as well to take family pictures by the fire. There will be fun and games for the children after they enjoy Chef Jamie’s Marvelous Brunch. Wednesday, December 19th we have two large events booked and will be closed for regular dinner service. Thursday, December 20th we have another large event that will cause the clubhouse to be closed that evening. Friday, December 21st will be our last day, please join us for our last evening of the season!

The cooking class last night went excellent, all the participants and Chef Jamie has a fantastic time. If you were not able to make it last night, we will be holding another class this evening at 6:00 pm. If the timing was not right, and you were not able to attend at all, and would like the recipes from class please let me know. This Friday, the 16th we will be having Kids Klub. Make reservations for a wonderful night out to dinner, without having to worry about the children. While you enjoy your dinner, the kids will play and have dinner in the other room. Make your reservations today! Wednesday, the 21st will be “Adult Craft Night” come out and spend the evening making wonderful holiday decor with Becky. All the supplies you will need for the craft will be provided, just bring lots of creativity. Beverages from the bar and snacks from the kitchen will be available. Members and guests are welcome. Do not miss out on this fun activity, sign-up today!
Thanksgiving is already here, how it snuck up on us so fast amazes me! We will be offering a Thanksgiving Buffet with all the favorite holiday treats, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Call to make your reservation today. We will also be offering a full dinner to-go, stop out and have your full dinner loaded into your car. Enjoy the prefect holiday dinner with family, without the fuss or mess! The dinner serves eight to ten people for $1250.00, you may order as many dinners as you would like. Dinner comes with; choice of Turkey or Ham, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Candied Yams, Butternut Squash, Green Bean Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, Jello Salad, Tossed Salad, Fresh Baked Rolls and choice of Pumpkin or Pecan Pie. To-go orders must be placed by Wednesday, 21st. Call or email with your order today.

On Sunday, we held Brunch and the Annual Meeting. It was a successful meeting, thank you to all who participated. Tonight and tomorrow we will be holding our cooking class. If you can not make it this week, no problem, we are offering it again next week. Jamie has planned some fantastic dishes to teach you all! Class will begin at 6:00 pm. Call the club today to reserve your spot.
Thanksgiving is coming up soon. We will be offering a buffet dinner as well as dinner to go! If you are going to order dinner to go please let us know by November 20th.

Good Afternoon, I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend and Columbus Day!
This Friday we will be holding “Mom and Dad’s Night Out”, this will give you the opportunity to make dinner reservations while your children play and eat dinner in the other room. Many fun games and activities will keep the children entertained, dinner of their choice and dessert will be served to them before you head home. Call the Club today to make your reservations. Saturday we will be hosting a small wedding, no dinner restrictions! Sunday we will be having “The Kids Fall Party”,bring the children in for an afternoon of fun, costumes are optional! Many fun fall activities and games are planned for the children including; Pumpkin Bowling, Pin The Bow on Mr.Skeleton, Balloon Sweep, Cupcake Decorting, Popcpon race, Candy Korn Toss and of course Scary Stories! The party is scheduled from noon until 4:00, activities will take place the entire time, so you can come anytime! Drinks and Snacks we be available for the kids while they play. Call the Club today to save your spot!

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
I hope you had all enjoyed this wonderful weather the last few days, it sure has been fantastic! Especially with all the beautiful fall colors everywhere. Congratulations to Mr.Dan Reiley on becoming the 2012 Men’s Club Champion, a close game with Mr. Mike Sherman. Wonderful golf from both individuals, it was a tied game right trough to the end. This will be Mr.Dan Reiley’s eighth club championship title.
I would also like to remind you all of a few things that are coming up here at The Pennhills Club. Friday, the 12th will be “Mom and Dad’s Night Out” a great opportunity for you to have dinner while letting the children have fun and dinner with others their age. Sunday, the 14th will be the “Kids Fall Party” lots of fun to be had to for all! Sunday, the 21st we will be holding Sunday Brunch! Saturday, the 27th we will be hosting the Bradford Hospital Auxiliary Halloween Party. This is a very fun event each year, be sure to get your tickets soon, we have them available here at the bar. Please be sure to make it to as many events as possible this month. I look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
What an absolutely fantastic day this is! The sun is shining with all the autumn colors in the background, I hope this stays around for a little while.
It’s a perfect day for golf that is for sure. We are hosting the Bradford Club Sauerkraut Open this afternoon, the golfers are sure loving the weather. Please get out to golf before the season comes to an end. This weekend’s events will not interfere with regular dining service so make your lunch or dinner reservation today and enjoy the spectacular autumn colors right outside our own Blaisdell dining room.
Next Friday October 12, we will be holding “Mom and Dad’s Night Out”. Come out to the Pennhills Club for a fantastic evening without worrying about the children; bring them along and off to the card room they go. We will have activities and fun for the children as well as dinner. This is going to be a wonderful event; be sure you do not miss out. Sunday, the 14th we will be hosting a “Kids’ Fall Party” with many fun games and such for the children. Doughnut and fresh apple cider will be served before heading home. Be sure to mark your calenders!
The monthly 50/50 we have begun to help with the driveway costs was drawn for September. And the winner was Mr.John Sullivan; please see me to pick up your prize money. Remember, tickets can be purchased at the bar all month long, and the last Sunday of every month we will draw the name of that month’s winner. Each month is a new drawing so you must purchase a ticket each month to stay in the drawing. Thank you to all who participated last month.

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying the wonderful sunshine this afternoon. It is nearing the end of the beautiful sunny days, as fall approaches us. Please come spend the last days of summer here at The Pennhills Club.
Tonight we will be holding “Ladies’ Night” from 6 pm until 9 pm. Come out and enjoy a relaxing evening with all the girls! There will be “taste testing” of several mixed drinks, beer and wine selections. Saturday we will be holding several events: Ladies Championship Golf Event, Military Officers Meeting and BAHS Class of 2002 Reunion. We will still be open for regular dinner service. Sunday will be the Browns vs the Bills Football Party, featuring snacks and beverages while you relax and watch the game.
Tuesday, the 25th we will be holding an event for “GT” Thompson. I sure hope to see you all in attendance supporting this wonderful gentleman. The Stan Pecora Open will be held on Sunday, September 30th; there are still spaces available for you and your team. Call the Pro Shop today to sign up!
Fall Aerification has been finished. Bent Grass over seed was also put down. A huge Thanks to Dennis and his Team. The golf course is already showing signs of healing. Last week at their annual meeting the MGA voted to fund asphalt cart paths in the areas surrounding the 5/9s. Look for completion of this project next week. Thank You to all MGA Members.

Good Afternoon, what a wonderful sunny day we are having! I sure hope this weather sticks around for a few more weeks.
I would like to Thank everyone who came to The Pooch Party, we had a blast. It was lovely to see so many members enjoying the afternoon. All the Pooches sure had great fun, the homemade peanut butter cookies were a hit! I look forward to hosting several more social events over the next few months; if you have an event you would like to see take place, feel free to pass it along to me. Again, from all of us at The Pennhills Club, Thank You for your continued support of our wonderful club!
This week is fully scheduled, with several meetings, lunches, dinners and golf events. MGA will also be holding their closing dinner. This is a MGA Member only event, 2013 golf projects will be voted on. Please call the Pro Shop to sign up. It is so wonderful to see the club being used in so many ways even as the golf season comes to an end. Please keep in mind Fall Airefication will be taking place on the 17th and 18th, the golf course, range and pro shop will be closed during these days.
On Wednesday, the 19th we will be holding a Ladies’ Night from 5:00 until 9:00. This event will feature several “taste testers” of different mixed drinks, beer and wine.With other activities being planned. I hope to see several Ladies’! That weekend (22 and 23) we will be holding the Ladies’ Golf Championship, this event is open to all female members with a registered handicap. Please call the pro shop to sign up. Sunday, the 23rd we will be holding a Football Party, from 1:00 until 4:00. Come out and watch the game while enjoying beverages from the bar and “tailgating snacks” from the kitchen. Sunday, the 30th will be the Stan Pecora Open, this is a wonderful event. Call the Pro Shop to sign up today.

Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful sunshine. The weather has been staying so beautiful, I can only hope it will continue for a few more weeks.
This weeks’ MGA will be sponsored by Gene Fazio and Minard Run Oil. Spots are still available, call the Pro Shop to sign your team up. Friday we will be hosting a going away party. Sunday we will be hosting a Pooch Party from 1 until 4 pm, I hope to see lots of members with their pooches! Tuesday and Wednesday next week we will be holding meetings with dinner afterward.Next week the MGA will be sponsored by Northwest Savings Bank, call the pro shop to sign up your team.
The Ladies Club Championship Tournament will be held Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd. This is open to all female members who have an established handicap. Call the Pro Shop to sign up!

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying your day. Sure does not seem like kids should be heading back to school already, the summer heat and sunshine are still around though!
Although we typically close the pool around Labor Day, the hot afternoons will allow us to keep it open a little bit longer. The actual closing date will depend on how chilly it gets at night, the cold temperatures take a toll on the temperature of the pool for sure. As of now we will not be closing this weekend, I will share the final closing date in my update when it gets closer. Thank You all so much for a wonderful season at the pool. I loved looking out and seeing children and families all laughing and playing together. I hope to see it this busy next year too.
This month I have planned some social activities since leagues will be coming to an end. If you have any suggestions of events you would like to see take place, please feel free to pass them along to me. The first event we will hold is The Fall Pooch Party, this will be on Sunday the 9th from 1 until 4. Activities and snacks for all the pooches. The next will be a ladies’ night on Wednesday the 19th from 5 until 9. I will be featuring “taste test” of all your favorite mixed drinks. The last will be a football party held on Sunday the 23rd from 1 until 4. We will have football beverages and snacks. Mark your calendars and make reservations to join in the fun at all the social events this month!
I know it seems early to begin thinking of your Holiday Events but dates will fill fast. Think of us when planning your event, we can host your event or cater to your home. Call and talk to Kevin to make your reservations!

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine today.
Tonight we will be holding the “Full Moon Party” with special drinks, dinner outside, a telescope to watch the moon and stars and of course a late night swim! The party will be from 8:00 until 11:00, I hope to see you there! This weekend, we will be having two groups down from Canada. We will also be hosting a wedding and reception here at the Club on Saturday, this will cause no regular dinner service for that evening. Due to the large number of golfers here this weekend, please be sure to call for a tee time.
Next week we will be hosting the Booth Kendall Outing on Tuesday and Wednesday, a great event. Thursday will be Northwest Savings Bank and Puretech Men’s Golf Association. This will be a fun golf event, please call the pro shop to sign your team up today. Friday the tenth and Saturday the eleventh we will be holding Bradford Area High School Class Reunions. There is no restrictions on regular dinner service.
This week’s MGA has been postponed until Thursday, September 6, this is due to the NWPA and SWNY Amateur Golf Tournament that is currently taking place. Please sign up for next week’s MGA!

Good afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying the wonderful weather we have been given. The sunshine this summer has been amazing!
The Fourth of July Celebration was a wonderful event. Thank You to everyone who came out and spent you holiday with us here at The Pennhills Club.
The wedding on Saturday went wonderfully, the guests really enjoyed having a band. The weather could not have been better for the occasion. The pool was sure busy all weekend long. The high temperatures brought many members out to enjoy the water. Due to that high traffic the pool was in need of chemical treatment. It is looking wonderful and clear today, and is back in full swing. Bring the kids out to enjoy the afternoon or stay all evening to have dinner.
This Saturday we will be hosting a very large wedding, so there will not be food and beverage service for the day. Please note there are soda and Gatorade machines located on the course, the Pro Shop also offers a full selection of snacks, beverages and ice. The pool will not be affected other than no food being available.
The Jr. Golf program has been changed, it will not begin this week. We will be holding a two day camp in August, call the Pro Shop for more details and to sign up. Thursday, July 26th we will be hosting a Bridgestone Ball fitting from 10 am until 2 pm at the driving range, call the Pro Shop to sign up. That day will also be the Bradford Club Italian American Tournament, sign up in the Pro Shop or with Dan Reiley at the Bradford Club. Saturday July 28th is the Rotary Tournament, there is a 1 pm shotgun. The format is four man scramble, sign up in the Pro Shop.
Wednesday, August 1st we will be holding a Full Moon Party, from 8 pm until 11 pm. Come out and enjoy the Full Moon from the patio. We’ll have a patio bar, dinner under the stars and of course a late night swim. Call the clubhouse to make reservations!
Back by popular demand this summer is the Pennhills Club Kids Day Kamp! This is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th from 11 am until 4 pm. The cost is $25 per kid and can be paid in cash, check or charged to your account. Members and guests are welcome. This year at Kids Kamp we will be “Traveling Around the World,” with several placed to visit the kids will have food, drink or an activity at each location. A picnic lunch will be served for the children. If you are interested in signing your child up, send me an email. Please include your child’s name and age.

Good Afternoon and Happy Fourth of July!
We have many great activities planned for this afternoon and evening. I hope to see you all here with your families on this wonderful holiday.
This season is flying by, it is hard to believe July is already here. Although, we have sure had perfect weather this summer! The clubhouse has been busy with leagues, golf course delivery, internal parties as well as several outside events. The pool has been busy all season, especially since school has been out. The course has seen an exceptional amount of play, and is still looking wonderful. The rain this week sure has helped.
Junior Golf is set to begin on Wednesday, July 11, if you have not yet signed your kid up, call the Pro Shop today! This is a wonderful free service offered to our Members. Junior Golf will be held every Wednesday until August 8 from 8-10 am. An awards lunch will be held the last Wednesday of golf.
Saturday, July 14, we will be hosting a large wedding, this will cause no food and beverage service for the day. Please make dinner plans accordingly.
Due to the large number of children this season we will be bringing back Pennhills Club Kids Kamp! The theme will be “Travel Around the World” with several areas representing different countries. Food, drink and activities will be found at each location. Kamp is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14th, sign-ups will be available at the Fourth Celebration. Members and guests ages 4-12 are welcome, cost will be $25.00 per kamper.

I just wanted to send out a reminder of the upcoming golf events here at the Pennhills Club. Please come out and participate as often as you can. For more information or to sign up, call or stop in the Pro Shop. If you would like to play on any of these dates, be sure to talk to Kyle to set up a starting tee time. In my last email I mentioned the Rally for a Cure, this was an error on my part, we will not be hosting the Rally this year.

Saturday, June 30. Seniors Tournament, 10:00 am shotgun.
No leagues will be played the week of July 2nd, due to July 4th Holiday and Celebration.
Due to great spring weather we have been able to move our Spring Aerification up to April 10 & 11. This should give our greens more time to heal and prepare for a remarkable golf experience this summer.
We welcome all our new members as well as our returning members. We will be hosting a Pooch Patio Party on Sunday, April 22 beginning at 1:00 pm. Bring your canine friends out for a fun-filled afternoon. There will be games and treats for your four-legged friends.
New this year is a “Nine and Dine” on Fridays. Sign up in the Pro Shop with your foursome, play 9 holes of golf and enjoy dinner afterward. If you don’t have a foursome, Kyle can pair you up with another pair, so sign up to get your group scheduled.
April also begins our monthly food minimums. Single members must spend $30 a month, Plus and family memberships must spend $60. Alcoholic beverages DO NOT count toward your minimum, neither do sales tax and tips. Totals are tallied daily so call Melody in the office if you wish to know how much has been spent.
