Penhills Club Members 2013!
Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying this fantastic sunshine! I know I am!
This weekend, we were originally going to be closed on Saturday for the Beacon Light Dinner. We will now be open for regular dinner service. Saturday, Jake will be holding Golf Clinic’s for both Men and Women. Everyone is encouraged to join him.
If you have not had the opportunity to get out and see the golf course, it is in fanatical shape. A huge thank you to Dennis and his crew on getting it ready so quickly.
If you have not filled out and turned in your golf league information, please be sure to do so. The league will be in full swing before you know it.
Saturday, May 4th we will be hosting the Bradford Library Kentucky Derby Gala. This is a fantastic event that benefits a great hometown cause. This year the Gala will feature; several appetizer stations, cash bar, funny money casino, Derby hat parade and of course the auctioning of this years one of a kind Zippo Lighter. I have tickets available for this event here at the bar. I hope you can all make it out!
Although Mother’s Day seems so far away, it is right around the corner. Please be sure to mark your calendars and pan on joining us for our annual Mother’s Day Brunch.

Dear Pennhills Club Members,
For those of you that would like to get their golf clubs regripped before the spring golf gets going we are ready here in the golf shop. I have some grips on hand but am able to get any kind of grip the next day from my supplier. If you are interested in purchasing some new equipment this season we would be happy here in the golf shop to liquidate your old equipment for credit towards your new. For any of these services call the golf shop at

Starting Friday, May 17th through Friday, June 7th the professional staff at the Pennhills Club will be running 4 sessions of after school juniors golf clinics for ages 9 through 15. Each session is from 3pm to 430pm. Sessions are $20 per student or sign up for all 4 for $80. Each clinic will be held on the practice range, putting green and golf course. Clinics will cover the the four fundamentals of golf {Grip,posture,set-up and alignment} along with shortgame and on course instruction.The clinics are intended for members children or grandchildren. For special exceptions for ages and guests please speak with the myself or my staff. Sign ups for these sessions are availiable now and will be in the pro shop.
To help all the members start the year off with some positive thoughts about their golf games. I will be hosting a mens and ladies golf clinic on Saturday, April 20th. The ladie’s clinic will be from 12pm to 1pm and the men’s clinic will be from 1pm to 2pm on the practice range. These two introductory clinics will be free of charge and open to all 2013 golf members. Please sign up in the pro shop spaces are availiable now.

Pennhills Club Members 2013!
Good afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying your day. I would first like to welcome all the new members! Each week I will be sending out an update of what is happening around Pennhills Club. Included in each email is the lunch and dinner menu for that week. If you have not received a Golf Handbook, Calendar or league information please stop by the Pro Shop.
This weekend is The Care for Children Rock-N-Win, a great charitable event that will benefit Care for Children. The event will feature live music by local band Mick and Chuck, a wide array of appetizers and a cash bar. There will be cash drawings, Chinese auctions and silent auctions. The event will be held Saturday, April 13th from 7 until 12. There are still tickets available at many locations including here at the bar. I hope you are all able to attend this fun-filled evening. Due to the size and nature of this event there will be no dinner service that evening; please plan accordingly.
Saturday, April 20 we will be hosting the Beacon Light Donor Dinner which will close the kitchen to members that evening. Originally we had a wedding scheduled for Saturday the 27th, but it has been rescheduled as the groom was deployed. So that evening is completely open.
The first Saturday in May we will again be holding the Bradford Library Kentucky Derby Gala. This event will feature fantastic appetizers a funny money casino and the auctioning of the one of a kind Derby Zippo Lighter. Tickets are available here at the bar. This is an absolutely wonderful event, I hope you are all able to join in on the fun.

Pennhills Club Members,
Many of you that have been around the club this past weekend have seen the bulldozer sitting up next to the practice range tee. For those of you that this is news to, the club has taken the first step toward improving the existing practice range. As many of you know the existing tee points the golfer into the trees on the right as opposed to up the range along with a limited area of grass tee for members and guests to practice. This makes the tee very hard to maintain because of the time the grass needs to heal. The new plan calls for bulldozing the front right corner of trees on the right hand side of the range which will open up more of that side of the tee to the range. The bulldozing will continue with pushing dirt from the hill on the right of the tee down to the back left of the existing tee.
All this means is there will be a practice tee that is twice as wide and will face the golfer up the middle of the range. It will take some time for the newest part of the tee to be ready to use because we will be planting seed instead of sodding, but the existing tee that the club has always used will be untouched.
My plans are to make the practice area more member friendly and a place that members enjoy their time spent.

Pennhills Club Members 2013!
Good Afternoon,
I hope you are all well! Our first week open was a success. Thank you to all who helped us celebrate. The BRMC Spring Swing was an absolutely fantastic event; everyone in attendance truly enjoyed themselves. Congratulations to both of the honorees: Mr. George Duke and Dr. Anil Pradhan!
This week we’ll be open for lunch and dinner, if you have not have an opportunity to stop out, I would love to see you this week! Sunday we will be holding our Annual Easter Brunch, I have attached a flyer with more details. Please call the clubhouse to make your reservations today!
The clubhouse hours for the month of March are: Closed Monday and Tuesday, Open 11 am until 9 pm Wednesday-Saturday, and Open 11 am until 3 pm Sunday. I have attached both the lunch and dinner menu for your convenience.

Pennhills Club Members 2012!Fall is here and in full swing! The hills and valley’s surrounding the club have changed colors into their autumn color. How beautiful it looks.
This week we have several evens scheduled. Last night we held a function for Glen “GT” Thompson, a wonderful evening here at Pennhills. Tonight we are be holding a dinner for Zippo. This weekend we will having our last group of Canadian Golfers, it sure has been wonderful to see them here so many times throughout the season. The fantastic golf course, friendly and accommodating staff and phenomenal cuisine they receive helps to get them back time and time again. Next year I hope to see several groups here on weekend get-a-ways! Sunday we will be hosting The Stan Pecora Open, call the Pro Shop to get signed up. This may be one of the last times to get out and golf this season, do not miss out. Tuesday, October, 2 we will be hosting the BRMC Service awards. Wednesday is the Bradford Club Sauerkraut Open, call the Pro Shop to sign up today.

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
I am happy to let you know, the issues with the wireless internet have been fixed. WiFi is again available here at The Pennhills Club. This can be accessed anywhere in the building, with no password needed. Pennhills Public is the address you will want to chose. A huge Thank You to Chuck Roberts and his IT Team for taking time out of their day to solve the issues.
It is wonderful to have the WiFi restored once again, I apologize it took so long to fix. I hope to see you all very soon!

Pennhills Club Members 2012!Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying your day. This afternoon, we have several lunch appointments. It is so nice to see the club being used so often, even at lunch time.
Tonight the Ladies’ League will be holding “Bring A Friend Night”, I hope to see lots of new faces this evening. It looks like the rain is going to miss us, so it should be perfect golf weather. This week’s MGA will be sponsored by Walker, Marshall and Dresser, there are still spots available, call the pro shop to sign you and your team up. Friday we will be hosting a large golf event for BRMC, this tournament will cause the course to be closed to all other play. I apologize for this inconvenience. Saturday will be the Men’s and Ladies’ Senior Club Championship, please call or stop by the pro shop to sign up for this wonderful event.
Next week MGA will be sponsored by E&M Engineers, call or stop by the pro shop to get your team signed up. Friday the 25th we will be hosting a large golf tournament, please call the pro shop to make a tee time for that day, as the course will be busy. Saturday the 26th will be the Annual Guys and Gals Tournament, this event is open to all couples around the Bradford area and will include: lunch, golf with cart, prizes and dinner. This is a wonderful premier event that we host here at The Pennhills Club, call or stop by the pro shop to sign up today!
As the seasons begin to change, Golf Leagues will be coming to a close. We had such wonderful participation this year, we all appreciate it here at The Pennhills Club. I hope our Golf Leagues can continue to grow. Until Leagues begin again I would love to give the members opportunities to share the evening with each other. I have been thinking of several events that could be held in place of having Golf Leagues. Member participation drives the success of any event, so I would like your opinion on what events you would like to see take place. I have come up with a list of a few ideas, please let me know what you think of them and what ones you would like to see take place, of course if you have any other ideas please feel free to pass them along. Just send me an email with your ideas, Thank You in advance.

Pennhills Members 2012!
Good Afternoon,
I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine we have been having this week! What a reminder that summer is approaching us very soon. We had an excellent Mother’s Day Brunch this year, maybe the best one ever. Thank You to everyone who shared the special day with The Pennhills Club Family. It was wonderful to see so many families here enjoying the occasion. Do not forget, before long it will be Father’s Day, plans are being put together for an event. Men’s and Ladies’ League have been going great, we had a wonderful turn out last night and I am looking forward to seeing all the ladies tonight! Watkins Glen is the sponsor this week for MGA, many guests will be joining this week, I look forward to seeing everyone.
Prom will take place this Friday; we are holding a buffet here at the club from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The buffet will feature Spring Green salad with topping, Fresh Baked Rolls, Chicken Alfredo, Prime Rib, Roasted Potatoes, Vegetables and a variety of desserts. The price of the buffet is $20.95 and includes tax and tip. Call the club today for reservations.
Sunday we will hold the first golf tournament for Bradford Wrestling, shot gun is at 9:00 am.
The Pennhills Club Pool is OPEN! Come enjoy the afternoon, with full poolside service. The pool looks amazing, thanks to Randy and Kevin. Umbrellas have been ordered for the tables around the pool and up on the patio. They will be here and up within a week.

Pennhills Club Members 2012!
Good Afternoon! I hope everyone has been enjoying the onset of summer the last week or so. The sun has been shining and temperatures reaching the high seventies: perfect for golf, swimming or enjoying lunch on the patio. Last week’s events went wonderfully. The golf tournament was a perfect ending, the course is in amazing shape. Thank You to Dennis and his crew. It is nearing the end of the month and this weekend we are open for regular hours with no dinner restrictions. Please join us for lunch or dinner.
The Pool is open and in full swing. The changing room and shower has been revamped and is ready for use. This year you will find one unisex facility. Full poolside service is available at the pool, so feel free to take full advantage. There are also towels located in the pool shack, please place soiled towels in the hampers. The shack has some pool toys and noodles for use at the pool. A lifeguard and swimming lessons will be coming soon!
Kyle and I are working on a Father Son golf event to be held on Father’s Day, more details will be coming soon.
