Men’s Tuesday Night League
Teams are being accepted to participate in the Men’s Tuesday Night Golf League. Fill out the enclosed registration form and return to the Pro Shop by Wednesday, April 20th, with a check payable to the Men’s Tuesday League.
NOTE: Ideas are being looked to address the situation of slow play on Tuesday evenings. Proposed is to go off both nines during league time while those who are not playing in the league start on the open holes of the golf course to accommodate everyone who desires to play that evening.
Again, this year will be a split season, with first and second half seasonal winners. The winners of each half will pair off in an 18-hole match to determine the season’s champions.
The format of play each week will be a round robin, partner’s better ball match play competition. Points are awarded weekly for each match and accumulate through each half of the seasons to determine the winners. A team may only win one of the season halves.
The cost for the season will be $55.00 per person, payable in cash or check. This includes prizes for weekly matches, closing tournament and seasonal awards.
The “Kick-Off” for the season is Tuesday, May 3rd golf is optional, cocktails at 6:00 p.m. with dinner (order off the menu) and a short general meeting to follow at 7:00 p.m. The seasonal match play schedule and league rules will be distributed that evening. RSVP by dropping off your registration form and check to the Pro Shop or mail to the address below by the deadline date. This is because of club house availablity for that week is booked.
For those who cannot play on a weekly basis, you are invited to participate as a substitute. Your name and number will be included on the league roster to contact if needed. There is no cost for substitutes to play. League players and substitutes must be golf members.
